Mining Industry Experience
Repair and rebuild hydraulic and machinery components for the mining, sugar, marine and power generation industries.
Experienced trade qualified Fitter & Turners with a strong machining background
Experience with hydraulics or other large components would be an advantage.
Successful applicants would need to demonstrate proficiency in:
- Reading and interrupting Technical drawings
- Drawing technical sketches by hand.
- Operating large lathes (3m +)
- Operating Vertical and horizontal Borers.
- Cylindrical grinders (at least 1 metre between centres).
- Operating Milling Machines
Exposure and or experience in Thermal spray operations such as HVOF or Arc Spray and or Hard Chrome operations would be an advantage.
