This mental health facility services a large population of children and young people between the ages of 0-19 years from diverse ethnic and socio economic backgrounds. A multidisciplinary specialist service, they provide assessment and treatment for their client group presenting with emotional, mental health and/or behavioural problems. In addition to the clinics held on site, clients are seen in their homes, at schools and at satellite clinic sites.
As a Consultant Psychiatrist working specifically in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, you would be working alongside 4 other Senior Medical Staff and over 50 other multidisciplinary staff, including Registered Nurses, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers. You will see clients on site, at a number of satellite clinics, at schools, community venues and at home. While this is a permanent, full-time position, a locum/fixed term appointment of 12 months would also be considered.
