Are you a senior marine painting professional, with a seriously good grip on your craft, perhaps with managerial experience and in need of a new challenge?
Our client specialises increasingly in the fairing and finishing of new build projects of vessels up to 50m, as well as refinishing projects, and is ideally situated at the heart of the largest growth area for boat building, refit, repair and maintenance in Australia. They are seeking high-calibre trades people and supervisory staff for their boat fairing and spray painting teams at a number of locations, including the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Newcastle and Sydney.
You will have at least three year’s experience in boat fairing and the application of high-performance marine paint systems and finishes to large vessels constructed in steel, aluminium and glass fibre, both inside and outside. Much of the work is on super yachts, and thus work of the highest standard is the norm.
To be considered for a team leadership role, you will already have (at least) a two year managerial record on top of a serious set of trade credentials, supported by strong references to back up your capabilities. Positions are available on a contracted or payroll basis.
