ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Trade Certificate Fitter.
2. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
3. Aware of A.S. 1554.1
4. Ability to work in a team environment.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Familiar with materials used in fabrication and site maintenance work.
2. Awareness of AS/ANZ ISO 9002.
3. Knowledge of A.S. 1554.5.
4. Awareness of the Queensland Workplace Health and Safety Act.
5. Additional Skills: Forklift Ticket, Overhead Crane Ticket, HR Truck Licence, Work at Heights Qualification, Confined Space Access Ticket, Elevating Work Platform Ticket, Intermediate Rigging Ticket. Black

RESPONSIBILITIES:
To fabricate, repair and maintain items as indicated on instructions, drawings and sketches.
To ensure work conducted is of a high standard and meets the requirements as indicated on the work instructions provided.
To ensure company tools and equipment are maintained in clean and usable manner.
DUTIES:
To conduct work as directed by the Workshop Manager, Site Foreman or leading hand
Assist in their appraisals of job production.
To maintain a safe, clean and tidy work area.
Operate company equipment/plant in a responsible manner to prevent damage.
To complete documentation relevant to the work conducted as directed by work instructions. I.e. Timesheets, Leave Request, Out of Service Tags, Incident Reports etc.
To advise immediate supervisor of any lost or damaged tooling or equipment.
QUALITY RESPONSIBILITY:
To ensure all work conducted is in accordance with relevant procedures and instructions.
To report any non-conformances identified in the course of carrying out assigned duties.
