This is an exceptional opportunity to join a global leader within the electronics industry in a senior management role. The Company This company is a leading provider of advanced communications solutions for mobile organisations throughout the world. They have been designing and manufacturing mobile radio products and solutions for four decades, developing their brand name to be synonymous with innovation, flexibility and commitment to the communications market. Their corporate headquarters are in Christchurch, New Zealand, where they design and manufacture all products. Corporate facilities include research and development, manufacturing, technical support and marketing/sales support operations.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO and part of a dynamic Senior Management Team, you will lead strategic sales and sales process globally, working with teams across the major markets of Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific. The position is based in Christchurch, New Zealand, and involves significant international travel. A challenging and demanding role where you will provide strategic sales and sales process leadership and have accountability for developing and implementing the corporate sales plan and processes. You will ensure ongoing positioning of the organisation as a major provider of customer solutions in the public safety, utilities and transportation market sectors and establish and maintain high level relationships with strategic partners.
Your key accountabilities are:
The development of programmes to support their sales personnel and improve their capabilities via their own Sales Academy and the Miller Heiman sales programmes.
The development and implementation of the Business Plan to substantially increase its Service business in response to customer's needs.
Responsibility for the terms and conditions of large commercial solutions contracts; Programmes which aid the sale of standard products through Dealer channels, including e-Sales
The development and implementation of sales tools
Establishing and fostering strong partnership processes including the development of a partnership programme.
Maximise commercial opportunities through identifying and promoting inter-organisational partnerships;

You are a focused and inspiring leader with outstanding commercial acumen and superior relationship building and communication abilities. You have radio or tele-communication industry or related experience, along with proven success defining and implementing sales strategies and the supporting systems and processes in the global marketplace You are hands on, with the credibility to work at the most senior levels of your client organisations.
