At Vantage Human Capital, we are currently working with a number of manufacturing organisations who are currently going through a major turnaround involving significant corporate restructuring and change management initiatives. As a result, these organisations are looking for a Turnaround Managing Director to drive the business forward.
As Managing Director, this business critical role will provide day to day operational management of all commercial and operational activities to maximise profit and production processes whilst building, transforming and maintaining a strong team culture.
You will be showcasing your strong leadership skills and responsible for all aspects of the business operations and management including driving sales and production. You will also be utilising your strong stakeholder management skills working closely with shareholders, suppliers, advisors and financial institutions.
You have a strong track record as a Managing Director performing at the highest level and executing challenging mandates with companies going through major change and transition. Ideally you have extensive experience in manufacturing, supply chain, FMCG or related/parallel industries.
Critical to your success will be demonstrable experience in working with private, entrepreneurial organisations going through change as well as working with dynamic, entrepreneurial business leaders.
You are technically savvy from a strategic level as well as being comfortable in the getting into the detail of numbers and processes. You are always looking for a better way to do things and have a creative edge to your strong business acumen. Most importantly you know how to work with a wide variety of people and get the best out of them, particularly in challenging and often difficult circumstances
These roles have the potential to transform into a much larger CEO role over time with the turnaround and expansion of these businesses.
There is also the opportunity to take a major share holding in one of these organisations from the outset which will give you true ownership over the role and ultimately the business as it expands.
