Our client?s primary business is the discovery and commercial production of oil and coal seam gas fields with projects in several of Australia?s producing Basins. Due to growth, they have a position available for a Petroleum Engineer at their Brisbane Office.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager your responsibilities will include:
· Develop well designs for the drilling of exploration CSG wells
· Develop well designs for the drilling of optimal CSG development wells (ranging from simple open hole to surface to inseam or fracture stimulation)
· Develop well dewatering (pumping) and gas production strategies for CSG well
· Establish, monitor, improve well production from CSG wells
· Establish and monitor gas well decline properties for CSG wells
· Establish reservoir depletion strategies for gas fields
· Engineer/design, procure and supervise/monitor construction of gas and water gathering systems
· Engineer/design, procure and supervise/ monitor construction of gas plants Comply with appropriate QLD Govt Petroleum Regulations and Reporting
