Due to continued growth within the infrastructure industry sectors we are currently seek the services of experienced of two Senior Permanent Way Design Engineers for one of our major clients based in Melbourne
As a Senior Permanent Way Design Engineer you will be an integral member of the team by producing designs, design reports and recommendations, a working knowledge of Australian design practices and standards will be considered as a distinct advantage.
You will be required to hold a degree or acceptable equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution in Civil Engineering and or equivalent.
To be successful with your application you will have a minimum of 8 to 10 years experience in Permanent Way Design functions covering such areas as;
Rail Track Design & Alignment
Modeling
Geometry Design
Major Junctions & Cross-Over’s
Route Investigation
Experience in rail track design packages such as MX Rail or INRAIL would be desirable but not essential for this position.
A high level of written and verbal communication skills together with an ability to build and develop strong working relationships will be highly regarded.
