We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Permanent Way Engineers for up and coming projects around Australia. As a Senior Permanent Way Design Engineer you will be an integral member of the team by producing designs, design reports and recommendations, a working knowledge of Australian design practices and standards will be considered as a distinct advantage.
You will be required to hold a degree or acceptable equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution in Civil Engineering and or equivalent.
To be successful with your application you will have a minimum of 8 to 10 years experience in Permanent Way Design functions covering such areas as;
Rail Track Design & Alignment
Modeling
Geometry Design
Major Junctions & Cross-Over’s
Route Investigation
Australian experience is preferable although not essential, experience in rail track design packages such as MX Rail or INRAIL are essential for this position.
A high level of written and verbal communication skills together with an ability to build and develop strong working relationships will be highly regarded.
