Multiple positions exist for Radiologists to join a large Radiology group in New Zealand.
This group, with its wide geographical spread and the recent implementation of group wide RIS & PACS, allows capitalisation on the expertise of the subspecialist Radiologists to offer clinicians and patients in provincial areas a comprehensive and quality Radiology service across all modalities.
This group operates throughout the North Island, with 20 branches and over 220 staff it is in the top three private Radiology groups in New Zealand.
The philosophy of the group is a Radiologist owned group, encouraging and promoting young Radiologists in New Zealand and recruiting expert international Radiologists who can contribute to the Group to expand the skill base in our private practices.
Due to the geographical range of this group it is able to capitalise on a number of opportunities in provincial New Zealand locations, utilizing its subspecialist medical professionals across a large area.
There is a very strong emphasis on quality medical imaging and customer service. This group was established to utilise the collective skills and offer clinicians and patients a comprehensive Radiology service across all modalities and to use the Radiologists with sub specialty skills to benefit the group service.
Many of the group’s Radiologists also work in the public hospital sector to achieve a work mix and to maintain peer review and access to other clinician groups.
Over the past two years this group has undertaken significant investment in new Radiology equipment and new sites with the development of several new high tech (MRI & CT) services.
Currently, there are MRI sites in 4 locations throughout the North Island and a new Breast Centre site recently opened in late 2009.
