An opportunity exists for a qualified Radiologist to join the team at this health service located in North Queensland.

This role includes:
Performance supervision and training in interventional techniques
Clinical review and image reporting across Imaging modalities including outreach to outlying communities
Provision of clinical consultation.
Coordination and specialist contribution to clinical-radiological review meetings
Supervision and training of Radiology Registrars
The imaging service is a critical element of the tertiary level service capability and to support surrounding health facilities of the district and Area Health Service.
The department has a full range of imaging facilities including: MRI, CT, Digital Subtraction Angiography, Ultrasound, Digital Fluoroscopy and General Radiography.
High quality patient outcomes remain the primary focus of services, this aim is supported by close and responsive links to clinical areas. Key staff members are actively involved in district and regional service planning.
