Our client, a member of the Hasting Deering Group, is located in Mackay and is in close proximity to many of Queensland's mining areas. They have a variety of reclamation technologies to repair and rebuild hydraulic and machinery components for the mining, sugar, marine and power generation industries.
Our client currently has rewarding opportunities available for experienced trade qualified Fitter & Turners with a strong machining background to join their growing organisation. Experience with hydraulics or other large components would be an advantage.
Successful applicants would need to demonstrate proficiency in:
- Reading and interpreting Technical drawings
- Drawing technical sketches by hand.
- Operating large lathes (3m +)
- Operating Vertical and horizontal Borers.
- Cylindrical grinders.
- Operating Milling Machines
Exposure and or experience in Thermal spray operations such as HVOF or Arc Spray and or Hard Chrome operations would be an advantage.
To be considered for these roles, you must be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver quality work, with a high focus on maintaining personal safety and safe working procedures.
